Another great opportunity to present the electric drive alternative to our fellow car enthusiasts. I continue to be impressed with the reaction of these Automobile Entusiaasts. They understand and appreciate the effort that goes into a home conversion, and are often very interested in all the details.
I passed out about 25 cards. Many people read the RAV4-EV story I had posted on a board in front of the car.
We had participation from five Polk EVA List members. Unfortuately we missed Dennis Miles who was in attendance. Lyn Feltner, Alan Darr, Phil Lemieux and of course, Chris McDonald who is deeply involved with the First Baptist Church and the Victory Lane Car Show.
Phil was a great supporter bringing dozens of his Low Rider Enthusiast friends to see the Electric Truck that he has helped in some recent improvements such as LED running Lights.
We didn't win any trophy at this event, but we did get a nice Tool Kit which I dressed up with recent car show plaques. As I understand, this was donated by Auto Zone.
